Marvin IT Services is a Malta based company that offers a mixed and wide selection of IT and Consulting Services. We are a small family business wanting to extend our core team and are looking to fill the position with a Junior System Engineer or Junior DevOps Engineer.

You are not afraid to provide technical support and assistance to our clients and will assist the team wherever technically possible and necessary. You iteratively improve our services by conceiving of, refining, and delivering new ideas.

What we are looking for:                   

• Candidates who are passionate about building networks or complex systems.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised.
• Good time management and self-motivation skills.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Genuine and mature computer engineering background. A degree is not needed, but an in-depth understanding of how computers, software, and technology in 2024 works is strictly required.
• Experience in JavaScript, Python or Go.
• Good understanding of the English, German or Italian language.
• A keen interest in technology and its application in a business environment.

Bonus skills and interests:

• Hands-on experience and understanding of REST API and microservices.
• Remote team and start-up experience.
• Experience in front end development, like ReactJS, Angular, Vue or Flutter/Dart.
• Experience in development with Node.js.
